Artwork of 400 Beacon Street Notecards

This boxed set of 10 notecards and envelopes features some of the most striking artwork at 400 Beacon Street, Mary Baker Eddy’s final residence in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. Set contains two each of the following: “Feed My Sheep,” “Peace,” “Daniel’s Answer to the King,” “The Happy Mother,” and “Le Repose en Égypte.”

Some of these images may be familiar—including “Peace,” inspired by the Bible verse “and a little child shall lead them” (Isaiah 11:6), and “Daniel’s Answer to the King,” based on the story of Daniel in the lion’s den—others may not. “Feed My Sheep,” for instance, was painted at the request of Mrs. Eddy herself, who also provided the title.

Card size 5X7 inches.
