This book includes inspiring stories of protection, healing, and faith under fire experienced by service men and their families from World War I through Desert Storm.  The pioneering role of Christian Science women in the military chaplaincy is also recounted.  Kim M. Schuette served as an Army chaplain from 1974 to 1986.
