Historian David Matthews examines the life of William Tyndale, who, in 1526, was the first to translate the Bible into English from the original Greek and Hebrew. Mr. Matthews follows Tyndale's life from the dawn of the 16th century, through his education, his exile, his influence on the English Reformation and Protestantism, and the impact of his death by burning at the stake.
