The Mary Baker Eddy Historic House in Stoughton, Massachusetts, was given to Longyear in 1961. At that time a nearby greenhouse was propagating and selling a geranium that had been named for Mrs. Eddy. When the greenhouse owner retired, his remaining stock of the plant was given to Longyear. Davidson Greenhouses and Nursery, Inc. in Crawfordsville, Indiana, now propagates the geranium exclusively for Longyear Museum. The geranium design is now available in a lovely blue suncatcher.
