Painting a Poem: Mary Baker Eddy and James F. Gilman Illustrate Christ and Christmas

In 1893 Mary Baker Eddy commissioned painter James F. Gilman to create the pictures for her poem "Christ and Christmas" Gilman worked under her direction for the better part of a year to illuminate the poem's ideas and ideals.
